Check out the Antique Market along the train to tigre (Tren de la Costa) every weekend on Saturday and Sunday; Barrancas station. Take the Mitre train from Retiro to the last station and walk through the enclosed bridge to the Maipu station and grab the Tren de la Costa. You can get off at the Barrancas station. At the cafe there they rent bicycles if you want to tour some different terrain. This is an upscale neighborhood and you are not far from the coast of the river. You can get back on the train the continue to Tigre where the train ends its route. Or hop the train back towards town and stop at the San Ysidro station.
